Workin' Hard for the Money

It used to be you worked from 9 to 5 (including lunch). Somewhere along the line - after all the technological wizardry that's supposed to make our work lives easier, we work longer hours (not including lunch). And that usually makes the rest of our waking life a bit harder to handle. So when asking a friend how her particularly long work week (on a Wednesday) was going - this is what I got.
Ugh you have no idea! Lots off coffee too..im so tired a walked all the way to work this morning with my dress tucked into my underware.

Tugging it out was more embarrasing

From working 9 to 5, to workin' the streets. Either way she's gettin' paid.

The Hangover

Sometimes you don't have to go to Vegas to have a good time that leaves you a little bit shaken, a whole lotta drunk, and that terrifying feeling that you may have just woken up in a foreign country without a passport.
R u going to make it? i passed out and woke up at 430 in a panic haha then i figured out where i was.

Home Alone

When I was a kid, it was a big responsibility getting your own keys to the house so you could stay home by yourself after school. Of course parents always worried that you'd set the house on fire, accidentally kill the pet or lose your only key - locking yourself out of the house until a responsible adult came home.
6:14PM: i fucking locked myself outside on my 4th floor patio.. [Daisy] isn't coming home til 9pm. FML!!
6:52PM: dude...it was 140 bucks! cause the front door was deadbolted they had to drill through... fuckin A...i knew i shoulda jumped.

Seriously.. How do some adults make it through the day?

A Little Less Conversation, A Little More Action Please

At some point we've all called co-workers on their vacation to get some crucial bit of information to send along to a client in an email. But what happens when that co-worker is in no state to pass along any information?
we just drank $400 of vodka in 2.5 minutes. i'm in some crazy russian bar wearing a fur coat and babushka...no joke.
Seriously? I'm probably never going to get that crucial information I need. What happens in Vegas should stay there...

The Bat Signal Returns

Sometime sequels are bad. But just sometimes you get a sequel better than the original. For example, The Godfather Part II, The Empire Strikes Back, The Karate Kid II. This is my sequel to Time Travel (aka "The Bat Signal"). You know the question... Here's the answer...
I am in mf [VA] ... Mustache and mini skirt party ... My buddy from elem school throws it each year.

Can this get any better? Do I dare go for the trilogy?

Time Travel

From time to time, I like to send out what I like to call "The Bat Signal". It's my perfectly short template "Where u at?" text that I send when I need to find someone. But it doesn't do me any good if no one answers...

Unless, of course, you're one of my friends, who answers a text FIVE days later. (Names and places will be changed to protect the drunk and stupid.)
[Union]...Just broke a wine glass...[2nd St] and [Union].

Umm...I'm sitting right next to you.

If You Ain't on mySpace You Ain't noBody

We use the internet for all sorts of things...finding people, stalking people, and generally putting out waaay too much personal information about ourselves . But some people don't want to be found. So sometimes asking a person if they have a mySpace page is a very loaded question.
Oh..I don't have a myspace page...please--the last thing I need is my sketchyness all over the www. *

Umm... word to that....
And thank you to *[Bubble Gum] for sending that text in for our special Chrismahanukwaanzukah stupid text

Trainwreck

I know, I know - I should never leave any of my friends alone at a bar. I realize that most of the time I'm the responsible one - pulling the plug when things start to get out of hand. Well this time I couldn't stay. I had to go to work (yes, at night). So I left. Twelve hours later...
I lost my bag missed my dentist appointment and hold no id i may be a loser

I seriously wonder how some people make it through the day...
