Drink and dash

Some nights you pay for others to drink and it usually sounds like, "Round of drinks on me!" And some nights you drink and others pay, "Let me buy you a drink." But sometimes something goes completely wrong.

The rules of sex and dating are different in every country with one exception - "If you have sex in a foreign country it doesn't count." But everything else is fair game. So when my foreign friends ask me a question about dating stateside, I'm stumped. (Names will be changed to protect the innocent, but mostly the drunk and stupid)

I met a hot boy at [Insert Bar Name], didn't sleep with him, and he just called me!! Is this dating?

Unvitations. We all get them and we all send them. It's truly a victimless etiquette crime. But it's not often that I see three in one night... from the SAME person.

6:35PM - Scratch that. [Jenn] has to study for finals. I should have check with her first. No gumbo fest
7:36PM - I know. I even bought turkey saugage just for you

I think Willis from Diff'rent Stokes said it best, but I don't think he ever said it in French. So why do my friends reply to my inquiries in foreign languages? People - what makes you think I have the brainpower to translate?

Better Late Than Never

I always seem to do this. I post like a fiend, and them I'm gone for MONTHS. Well this post relates back to wintertime. Ah. . . Winter. The snowy season that seems to confuse all my foreign friends.
